Cisco has released a new VPN client that is supposed to compile and
work better with newer Linux kernels. You can get it from:

 ftp://ftp.uci.edu/distribution/vpnclient/vpnclient-linux-4.6.02.0030-k9-UCI.tar.gz

You need to be on campus or have a VPN session going to get this tar file.

I have tested it on a FC2 system with FC2 kernel 2.6.10-1.770_FC2 and
it works. It compiles correctly and the kernel module loads on a FC3
system, but the system I did that on cannot use the VPN (it's on the
inside of the VPN concentrator).

If you test this please post your results. This release will become the
default soon unless some major issue shows up.
