[UCI-Linux] p4_error:net_recv read:probable EOF on socket:1

Hello,
     I ran an mpi code on my lab computer clusters.  The program seems
to be working fine for a while giving me the outputs I expected.  Then
it gave me the errors
segmentation fault
p4_error:net_recv read:probable EOR on socket:1

    I do not know what this p4_error message means and what the possible
problem is.  Does anyone ever have this problem?

   Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated.
