Do you have a vision for how environmental information and mobile
technology can lead to healthier lives and communities? Then join EPA
for the "Building Innovation through Partnerships: EPA's Apps for the
Environment Forum!" This free event, held at the Artisphere in
Arlington, Virginia, will be streamed live on Tuesday, November 8, 2011,
from 10 am to 2:15 pm (PST). You can watch the Ustream feed at:
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/usepa.

In June 2011, EPA sponsored a challenge called "Apps for Environment" to
develop mobile apps using EPA data. This forum builds on the excitement
and innovation that the competition sparked; recognizes participants and
winners from the "Apps for the Environment" challenge; explores how to
move forward to support a sustainable, diverse, innovation community;
and announces an exciting and new challenge jointly sponsored by EPA and
the US Department of Health and Human Services.
