Artists and Projects

Greg Elliott - PersonalSoundtrack
PersonalSoundtrack detects your pace and plays songs from your library
that match your pace, in real-time. You simply put it on and begin
moving; that's it. This device adapts to its user, performing a task
based upon embodied, natural and situated movement. The person is asked
only to walk as s/he always does. This might be your first symbiotic
relationship with a machine.

Pearl Ho - Group Normalization Therapy
Users are invited to participate in a heart rate biofeedback "therapy"
session. Group Normalization Therapy critiques the extraction of
electrical data from the body and its eventual interpretation in
medicine.

Shan (Harmony) Jiang - Music To Go

Music to Go is an interactive game sonification system that allows
people to play Go on an electronic game board, collects and analyzes the
game data and generates music synchronously according to the game.

Shadi Shariat & Paul DiGioia - Inside Voices
The installation will bring community awareness to incarcerated
individuals in juvenile halls, jails and prisons. The aim is to bring
these voices out into the community.

Angela Willcocks - Onomatopoeia
This is simply an exploration of written, sound actions and
technological disconnect.

Beverly Andrews - Untitled Ceramic Masks
