	Solicitation Number: RFI

	Description

The U.S. Army Aviation Applied Technology Directorate (AATD) is
seeking information on potential technologies and approaches for the
collaborative development and demonstration of enhanced rotorcraft
survivability components. These requested technologies should address
detection of and countermeasures to ground based threat systems,
including small arms, RPG and MANPADS. Anticipated technologies include,
but are not limited to threat warning, threat location, signature
control, threat jamming, vehicle hardening, and lethal and non-lethal
countermeasures. The Army is interested in alternate, innovative
approaches and technologies to achieve enhanced platform survivability
with minimal weight and cost burden.
