The Beall Center for Art and Technology launches its 2004 season with
the newly 
commissioned site-specific installation by New York artist A.M. Hoch. 
  
Working with Wallace Shawn, one of America's most original playwrights
and 
performers; Deborah Eisenberg, actor, writer and winner of four O'Henry
awards; 
and Peabody Award-winning digital media architects dotsperinch, New York
artist 
A.M. Hoch creates a new theatre of memory. This original work allows the
beauty 
of science, art and technology to bring new insight to our interior
lives. 
  
Mitosis: Formation of Daughter Cells draws evocative correlations
between human 
experiences and the genetic codes that shape us. Using digital
technology, sculpture 
and painting, A.M. Hoch invents a habitable cinema - linking images,
sound and space 
to create a deeply personal interactive digital environment. 
  
With Andrea Schell, Wendy Walker, Amo Gulinello, Francine Dreyfus, and
Brigid McInnes Connelly.
