[MGSA-L] CfP Philhellenism and the Greek Revolution 1821

The British School at Athens (BSA) and the National Library of Greece (NLG) with the generous support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) are organising an international conference on



'Philhellenism and the Greek Revolution of 1821: Towards a Global History'



The conference will take place during 15-17 March 2023 at the premises of the Νational Library of Greece in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC).



We kindly invite those interested in participating to send their proposals by 31 May 2022 to m.sotiropoulos at bsa.ac.uk<mailto:m.sotiropoulos at bsa.ac.uk>.

Proposals may be submitted, and papers may be given, in either English or Greek. Simultaneous translation will be available at the conference.

Contributions may be considered, for inclusion, in expanded and revised form, in a volume of essays with the same title, to be published by Routledge in the BSA’s series Modern Greek & Byzantine Studies.
