[MGSA-L] Elizabeth Constantinides Memorial Translation Prize - Deadline is April 1!

Dear members & prospective members:

Please consider submitting your work to the Elizabeth Constantinides
Memorial Translation Prize. Or please encourage others, including
translators who are not yet MGSA members, to submit their work. This is our
only prize that does *not* require membership in the Association. We aim to
promote translations of Greek literature to the English-speaking world!

Remember-

* Both *published* and unpublished submissions are eligible
** Members and non-members may enter the competition.*
* Electronic submissions; deadline is April 1, 2022.
* Work-in-progress is welcome. An award from the MGSA may help in
 securing an offer from a press.
*The translation must be from Modern Greek into English.
*Work from any literary genre—poetry, prose, or drama—will be
considered, including excerpts from longer works.
*The submission should be between 15 (minimum) and 30 pages (maximum) in
length; longer submissions will not be considered.
