Dear Colleagues and Friends,

*INVITATION to a WEBINAR*

*“Greek Authors 19th-21st centuries — The CENSUS website”*

The ‘CENSUS of Modern Greek Literature’ project is organizing a first
presentation online
<http://www.laskaridisfoundation.org/en/webinar-greek-authors-19th-21st-centuries-the-census-website/>.
The project team and I hope that you will join us on *Tuesday April 5th,
2022, 12:00 (Boston time) (= 19:00 Athens time)* to hear more about the
current state of the CENSUS and its future outlook. The MGSA's community
has long been part of this project.

As you are aware, “The CENSUS of Modern Greek Literature: a bibliography
for the English-speaking world” aims to facilitate access to Greek
literature for speakers of English by providing references to (all)
English-language translations of modern Greek literature and to (all)
studies in English that relate to modern Greek literature from the twelfth
century AD to the present.

The event features the presentation of the “*Greek Authors
19th-21st centuries*” section — the first to be made available on the
CENSUS website
under Open Access. This most recent phase of the project was completed,
with the support of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, through the
collaboration of two ad hoc teams of researchers / fellowship recipients —
in Boston and under the aegis of the Marilena Laskaridis Chair of Modern
Greek Studies, University of Amsterdam. The initial section to be presented
includes references to 800 Greek literary authors (in approximately 7,000
entries).

Please register *here*
