Dear Colleagues,

Please feel free to forward to anyone you know who might be interested.
I've just learned that due to COVID, AUTH will continue to offer its
semester and year-long courses in Modern Greek online-- for at least the
following semester and most likely the entire academic year.

I've been a student in their program many times, and I recently completed a
4 month intensive course. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with
this program, and it is unbelievably affordable. (For a 4month 20hr/wk
intensive course the tuition is about 600 euros. Even less for the less
intensive courses.) Every instructor I have had has been incredibly
friendly, welcoming, and talented, and being in these classes you get to
meet fellow students from all over the world who are learning Modern Greek
for every imaginable reason!

I recommend the programs that are listed under "courses" on their website.
(It's a bit confusing. There is a separate section where it says "online
courses" under the dropdown menu. I believe this is a separate program
which I have never taken part of and which I believe is a
different curriculum.) I'm not in any way affiliated with the program; just
an enthusiastic fan/ student who knows how difficult it can be to find
resources for Modern Greek in the United States! So direct any questions
you have to the department, although I would be happy to speak about my
experiences as a student to anyone who is interested.

Here is the website:

Again, please feel free to forward this to anyone you know who might be
interested.

Best,
