In addition to the score and recording of Astrinidis' setting of "Thourios by Rigas", there is now a youtube playlist with study materials for choristers who wish to perform individual vocal parts:

Fact: Astrinidis was born in 1921 in Akkerman, Romania, about 235 km from Iasi.

Subject: rare musical setting of "Thourios"

Dear list members,

I am releasing an edition of Nicolas Astrinidis' musical setting of Rigas' Thourios excerpted from the former's Symphony "1821". Below you will find the pdf file that includes the vocal score and choir parts:

https://www.academia.edu/45127635/

A recording of the excerpt is available here:

You are welcome to distribute the file to your local Greek community and music colleagues for study and, ideally, performance.

Best regards,
