*Elsa Amanatidou* and *Vangelis Calotychos* in conversation with *Johanna
Hanink* about her forthcoming translation of *“The Archeologist”* and a
selection from *“Tales from the Prow”* by the renowned Greek author Andreas
Karkavitsas (1865-1922). This will be the first translation published
by *Penguin
Classics* of a Modern Greek literary work from Greece.

*Johanna Hanink* is Associate Professor of Classics at Brown University.
She writes and teaches on various aspects of Greek antiquity and its
legacy.
