The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Public Humanities Initiative, the University Seminar in Modern Greek, and the Departments of Classics at Columbia University are pleased to invite you to a discussion between novelist Demosthenes Papamarkos and professors Stathis Gourgouris, John Ma, Paraskevi Martzavou, and Christos Papadimitriou on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:00 pm. The discussion will explore the various ways in which Papamarkos draws on his background in the humanities to address broad audiences through graphic novels, plays, and television series.
