We will be reading George Steiner’s overview of the history of English Homeric translation in “Homer in English,” selected Odyssey excerpts from Richmond Lattimore, Robert Fagles, and Emily Wilson, as well as Wilson’s Translator’s Note and a review of her recent translation.
