After some negotiating, the Stockton Seaview Hotel, our symposium 2015 location, has extended the MGSA-negotiated rate through August 17: $109 per night before tax. Bookings may be canceled up until 2-3 days before. Please take advantage of this offer while you can. We cannot guarantee it after the 17th. Instructions show below. Be sure to mention the MGSA's name in full.

The Stockton Seaview Hotel informed us that the deadline for reserving a symposium room at the MGSA-negotiated rate is August 2. After that date, the hotel will still have rooms available but cannot guarantee the discount rate of $109 that was negotiated (long and hard) by the Local Arrangements Committee. All information on how to make your hotel booking can be found at mgsasymposium.org or here below (mention MGSA in full):

The booking process is simple: call Stockton Seaview Hotel Reservations at 1-855-894-8698<tel:1-855-894-8698>then press 1.    Ask for the dates you need and mention the discount code "Modern Greek Studies Association" to obtain the $109 rate.

The hotel offers a full refund if it receives word of any cancellation up to 48 hours of your first hotel night. The rooms come with free WIFI, mini-fridge, and free parking. Double and single occupancy come at the same rate of $109 before tax.

The symposium starts on Thursday afternoon, November 2, and ends late on Saturday, November 4. The morning of Sunday, November 5, will be devoted to the Business Meeting and Executive Board Meeting.
