In her talk Natalie will be exploring diaspora writing, the worlds of the imagination and their intersection
with the realities of modern Athens and Greek society and culture.
How do you write about a place in which you do not live? What is the relationship between literature and history?
She will be reflecting on how a writer chooses her material, and the tension between fictional worlds and historical realities.
