GREEK STUDIES, San Francisco State University, Spring 2016.

San Francisco State University, Department of Classics, invites applicants for a Visiting Professorship for Spring 2016 (one semester only). The department is looking for a specialist in an area of contemporary Greek history, culture, economy, politics, and/or the arts, preferably someone who is a mid-career or senior scholar. The visiting professor would teach two courses and give two public lectures over the course of the semester. Applicants from Greece are particularly encouraged to apply. Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required. Salary commensurate with qualifications; travel costs negotiable.
