Tal Nitzán is an award winning poet, writer, editor and a major translator
of Hispanic literature. Author of five poetry books, a novel and a
children’s book, and editor of three poetry anthologies. Her poems have
been translated to more than 20 languages, and collections of her work were
published in Lithuanian, Italian(2), French(2), Spanish(2) and Portuguese.
Her English collection,* ‘At the End of Sleep’, *was published as an e-book
by ‘Restless Books’, New York. Nitzán has edited the ground-breaking
anthology ‘*With an Iron pen’: Hebrew Protest Poetry 1984-2004 *(2005),
(published as well in French, and in English by SUNY Press, USA). Her
awards include the Prize for beginning poets and for debut poetry book by
the Ministry of Culture, the Prime Minister’s Prize for Writers, the
Publisher’s Association Poetry Award, The Hebrew University Poetry Prize,
an honorary medal from the president of Chile for the translation of Pablo
Neruda’s poetry, and others.

Christos Tsiamis has published four books of poetry: *Polytropo* (Patras,
1979), *Garden with Roots in the Moon* (Athens, 1996),* The Auto-mobile of
Love* (Athens, 2000), *A long walk in Patras* (Athens, 2007) and a book of
translations *These Are My Rivers: Poems of Lawrence Ferlinghetti,*
(Athens, 1995).  His latest book of short prose and poems, *Magical
Manhattan* (Athens, 2013), was short-listed for the 2014 critic’s circle
award for poetry (the “Anagnostis Awards”).  His poetry, prose, and
translations have been published in Greece’s major literary magazines and
have been included in anthologies in Greece and abroad.
