[MGSA-L] Discussion with the Prof. Thanos Veremis, Historian and Deputy Mayor of Athens about the Greek Economic Crisis

The Program in Modern Greek Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will be hosting an event tomorrow (Tuesday, November, 11th, 2014). Prof. Thanos Veremis, Deputy Mayor of Athens, Vice-President of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and Emeritus Professor of Political History at the University of Athens, will be giving a lecture entitled: "The Greek Economic Crisis: Causes and Implications for the City of Athens". The event will be taking place in Lucy Ellis Lounge at the Foreign Languages Building (FLB), 707 South Matthews Avenue, Urbana, IL 61801, 4-5pm.
