Dear members of the list,

I would like to thank all of you who responded to my question regarding
the possibility of a genealogy of the conceptualization of Jewish-Greek
Christian relations (too many -ofs- in this sentence...). What I had in
mind was something akin to Gil Anidjar's approach to such relations in
the Western, Catholic world through the analytical framework of the
enemy, when he talks about anti-semitism /in toto/ (as a racist ideology
that involved both Jews and Arabs). I was wondering if an analogous
project has been done, or could be done, not on the question of this
racist/racialist departure for antisemitism but of much earlier forms of
such an exclusionary conceptualization. It seems that there isn't one
yet. But there is still time, someone might want to write it.

All best wishes for the weekend,

np/
