We in the USA can be thankful to live in a country that does not practice torture and respects the constitutional rights of its citizens including the rights to due process, habeas corpus, and to protection from surveillance, unreasonable search or seizure; a nation which respects the whole family of nations without chauvinism or incitement; a regime which does not put tanks in the streets or resort to martial law on any pretext, whose detention camps meet the highest standards, which does not engage in aggressive war and certainly does not target innocent civilians for murder.

Greece must have been an unspeakable place back then. But then again they didn't have drones.
