[MGSA-L] MGSA Greek Language Pedagogy Workshop, October 12 and 13, 2012

The Modern Greek Studies Association's Undergraduate Committee and the local arrangements committee at SF State, overseen by the faculty at the Center for Modern Greek Studies, are pleased to extend an invitation to instructors of Modern Greek and anyone interested in second language acquisition and Modern Greek pedagogy to attend the MGSA's 4th biennial workshop on Greek Language Instruction, at San Francisco State University.
This workshop addresses teaching Modern Greek at the University level.
Sessions will include presentations and hands-on workshops on the following themes: The Theories and Methods of Foreign Language Teaching, Task-Based Instruction, The Development of Writing Skills, Teaching Grammar and Vocabulary, Strategies for developing Reading and Listening Skills, etc.
Tentative Schedule:
Friday, October 12, 2 pm to 6 pm, HUM 587
Saturday, October 13, 10 am to 5 pm, HUM 587
