This article from "Publishing Perspectives" does not focus on Modern Greek
but discusses at length the current Michigan translation theme semester,
co-ordinated by the Department of Comparative Literature
(where half of the endowed C.P. Cavafy Modern Greek Chair belongs).

Yopie Prins. the Chair of the Comp Lit Dept., "noted that Michigan is one of the few universities
where less commonly taught languages continue to be taught,
including Dutch, ancient and modern Greek, Korean, and dozens of others."

The article will be of special interest to list members
exploring the academic future of less commonly taught languages
and the role of translation in it.
