The MGSA undergraduate committee and the local arrangements committee at
SFSU are pleased to extend an invitation to instructors of Modern Greek and
anyone interested in second language acquisition and Modern Greek pedagogy
to attend the MGSA 4th biennial workshop on Greek Language Instruction, at
San Francisco State University.

Sessions will include presentations and hands-on workshops on the following
themes: The Theories and Methods of Foreign Language Teaching, Task-Based
Instruction, The Development of Writing Skills, Teaching Grammar and
Vocabulary, Strategies for developing Reading and Listening Skills, etc.



The committee would also like to invite colleagues to submit proposals for
a 10 minute presentation on pedagogical innovations, classroom projects and
practices as well as emerging technologies that have been shown to enhance
motivation and promote language skills. Please send a brief description of
your project/idea to Martha Klironomos at: mkliro at sfsu.edu
