MYTHOLOGY SEMINAR  
Island
of Ikaria- Greece,
July 12th-16th,
2012

In
July 2011 the “Ikaria
Festival” organized, among other cultural events, a Mythology
Seminar (in Greek) which was completed with success. Due to this
success, a second Mythology Seminar is actually planned for summer
2012.
In
addition, a Mythology
Seminar in Englishis programmed during the same dates.
Coordinator
of the English
Seminar is Professor Menelaos Christopoulos, University of Patras, a
specialist on the study of ancient myth and religion and director of
the “Centre for the of Study of Myth and Religion in Greek and
Roman Antiquity” (Patras University, http://
mythreligion.philology.upatras.gr). The Seminar takes place under the
auspices of the Centre. A program of the English Seminar is attached
here by.
The
dates of the Seminar are from 13thto 16thof July. The fee for the participation is 450€, including round
trip ticket Athens –Ikaria- Athens, as well as full hospitality
(hotel accommodation and meals).
If
you are willing to participate to the Seminar, you are kindly asked
