Parades are held annually throughout North America namely New York,
Chiocago,  Toronto, Boston, Montreal, Philadelphia, Tarpon Springs,
Cleveland, San Francisco, Baltimore. And today, we travel to *DETROIT,
MICHIGAN* for the *10th Annual Greek Independence Day Parade with guest
GEORGE REGANIS*, member of the The Detroit Greek Independence Day Committee.
The original Detroit Greek Parade was started during World War II to raise
money for war bonds for Greece, an American ally. The parades continued for
several decades until the late 1960’s and re-launched in 2002.  *
