International Conference on 

Informational Communication Technology in Education 2011

July 7–9, 2011

Rodos Palace Hotel

Rhodes, Greece

 

Co-hosts: University of the Fraser Valley (Canada); University of the Aegean (Greece)

 

Keynote speaker: Michael Grahame Moore is Professor of Adult Education in the Graduate School at the Pennsylvania State University. He is the founder and editor (1986) of The American Journal of Distance Education; special interests include the theory of distance education as well as the educational use of ICTs in emerging economies.

 

Conference features: Keynote speaker, Philosopher’s Café, UFV Graduate Student Paper Prize (1,000 euros), opening night reception, Greek Night, selected papers published in three academic journals

 

Conference synopsis: Since 2000, ICICTE has addressed the many challenges and new directions presented by technological innovations in education. ICICTE 2011 will focus especially on teacher training, adult training/education, and lifelong learning. With the keynote speaker, plenary sessions, workshops, and forums examining the integration of technology into all facets of education, the conference will provide participants with a forum for intensive interdisciplinary interaction and collegial debate.
