Speaker Biosketch:
Iason Athanasiadis is a writer, photographer, political analyst, and
television producer. He is a graduate of Oxford University and holds a
master's degree from the Tehran School of International Relations. He was a
Nieman Fellow at Harvard University from 2007 to 2008. He has contributed to
a range of media, including Newsweek, , the BBC, the Washington Times,
al-Jazeera, the Christian Science Monitor, the Guardian, the Financial
Times, the International Herald Tribune, and the Sunday Telegraph among
others.
