Dance master set to present workshop on traditional Greek dances

Join Greek dance master Kyriakos Moisidis as he hosts a workshop on
the stylings and form of traditional Greek mainland dances, island
dances and Pontic dances from along the Black Sea.

Moisidis, who holds a degree in physical education/Greek dance from
Aristotle University, has studied ancient Greek folklore and
ethno-choreography.

As founder and organizer of the international Seminar of Traditional
Greek Dance, he has provided instruction in the art of dance every
summer in Greece.

He has served as judge for several notable competitions, including the
Greek Orthodox Folk Festival and the Hellenic Dance Festival and has
participated in hundreds of performances throughout Greece.

The teacher/director of five dance groups is on staff at the
University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki .
