[MGSA-L] a research inquiry

I was wondering whether there is any scholarly work
that discusses Greek poetry of any genre/period
in terms of musical analysis. 

I'm not looking for impressionistic references to the musicality of a poem
but for systematic attempts to apply methods used in the analysis of music
to the close reading of poetry.

Please respond to me, not the list.
