Tort Reform Bills Need Cosponsors- Contact Your Members of Congress

AAEM
In letters dated February 15, 2011, AAEM endorsed H.R. 5, the Help Efficient, Accessible, Low-cost, Timely Healthcare (HEALTH) Act of 2011 and its companion bill, S. 218. If enacted, AAEM believes these bills to reform the current tort system will improve patient care by making health care more affordable and accessible without affecting the standards of care that physicians must meet, or the ability of plaintiffs who suffered harm from medical error to secure proper compensation.

ACTION REQUIRED:

FAX, CALL, or E-MAIL your Senators and Representative TODAY to urge his/her cosponsorship of S. 218 and H.R. 5.
