Study: H1N1 affected emergency department workers more than other hospital employees

The American Medical Association<http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/news/news/h1n1-study-dmphp.shtml>

During the H1N1 pandemic almost half of reported H1N1 cases in hospital health care workers occurred in emergency medicine, pediatrics, ambulatory care and anesthesiology, with emergency medicine workers having the highest infection rate. This is according to new findings published this week in the AMA's Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness journal<http://www.dmphp.org/cgi/content/full/4/1/47>. View an AMA news release<http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/news/news/h1n1-study-dmphp.shtml> about the study.
In addition, the AMA announced that it is now the exclusive publisher and distributor of the journal, formerly published by Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins. Visit the AMA Web site<http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/news/news/new-publisher-dmphp.shtml> to read more about this announcement.
