AAEM is continuing to listen to its members and we are still hearing
distressing stories related to the corporate practice of emergency
medicine.  Some see this as "old and tired"; however, AAEM knows the
stories come from the real world of EM.  Messages from the Frontlines,
which can be found at http://www.aaem.org/messages/index.shtml, are
actual recent messages to AAEM from rank and file physicians regarding
their dealings with corporate EM. After reading them you should agree
that AAEM's efforts in this area are as important now as ever.  Feel
free to communicate your own experiences; we will keep them anonymous if
requested as this is often and sadly necessary.
