AAEM to Offer Educational Track at International Meeting

The American Academy of Emergency Medicine is supplying an educational track at the
International Interdisciplinary Conference on Emergencies (IICE), which will be in
Montreal at the Palais des Congres de Montreal during the last week of June 2005, just
before the world-famous Montreal Jazz Festival.

More than 3,000 practitioners and researchers from around the world are expected at this
first-of-its-kind session, organized by Association des Medecins d'Urgence du Quebec
(AMUQ). AAEM was asked to provide a track of presentations and ACCME-approved Continuing
Medical Education.

AAEM has commitments from favorite speakers Peter DeBlieux, Diane Birnbaumer, Ramon
Johnson, Joseph Lex, Michelle Lin, Amal Mattu, Edward Panacek, Ghazala Sharieff, Richard
Shih, and Lawrence Weiss. Each will give a minimum of two cutting-edge clinical talks
during the five-day multi-tracked interdisciplinary sessions.

The first Call for Papers has been issued and the deadline for submitting an individual
paper is February 1st, 2005. On-line registration begins January 1st, 2005, at
www.iice2005montreal.com; AAEM members will get a reduced admission fee.

Plan to meet us at this crossroads of America and Europe from June 26th -30th, 2005. You
will get an excellent educational experience in a world-class city, and with
AAEM-sponsored CME.
