[BGSN] Perspectives Discussion Group at the Law School

Dear UCI Community,

 

This Wednesday, April 17, from 6 pm to 8 pm in LAW 3500, Professor Jennifer
Chacon will present "Presumed Incompetent: The Intersections of Race and
Class for Women in Academia," edited by Gabriella Gutierrez y Muhs, Yolanda
Flores Niemann, Carmen G. Gonzalez, and Angela P. Harris. Everyone is
welcome, and dinner will be provided. Don't worry if you don't get a chance
to read. If you do have the opportunity to read, Professor Chacon will focus
on the Introduction and Chapters 10-13, 15, and 30.
