[arthistorymajors] Awards for AH Majors/Unpaid Museum Interns

Friends of Art History will provide a $1,000 award to one or more UC Irvine Art History majors who have completed unpaid internships in a museum during 2015-2016. Students who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to apply.
Please email the following documents to Cecilia Flanagan at c.flanagan at uci.edu<mailto:c.flanagan at uci.edu> no later than 12 PM May 6, 2015:
1.     your unofficial transcript (add your name to the top of the first page)*
2.     a one-page letter of recommendation to be mailed directly from your internship supervisor to Cecilia Flanagan at c.flanagan at uci.edu<mailto:c.flanagan at uci.edu>. Contact your supervisor immediately with your request to allow them time to write the letter and provide them with details of your internship and your accomplishments to facilitate their efforts).

3.     a two-page essay explaining your responsibilities as an intern and what you gained from this experience.*
*Save your documents using naming conventions as per this example:

Eligibility requirements:
1.     UCI Art History major
2.     minimum 3.0 GPA in the major and/or overall

3.     internships must extend eight weeks or more and a total of 60 hours or more.

Awards will be announced at the annual Department of Art History spring party in early June.
