Too distracted to click the links at this moment but need details about the 4 & 1 and/or submitting your artwork? Here they are:

4 & 1 B.A./M.A. Info Session: Meeting in the Dept of Art History lobby (HG 2000) on Thursday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m.

Submitting your artwork for the Art Exhibit (deadline this Friday, February 26th).

UCI’s Art History Undergraduate Association<http://uciahua.weebly.com/about.html> invites you to participate in its Fourth Annual Art Show, Transcending Limits, to be held in the UCI Student Center over a three-day period with an opening reception on Monday, May 2nd, 2016.

Transcending Limits encourages the expression of individual limitations through art. In a world obsessed with the big picture, single voices and personal histories are often dismissed. Humans struggle within societal and/or personal limitations. Art allows individuals to break through these limits and to experiment with, and create, new meanings inspired by these constraints.

Please email ahua.uci12 at gmail.com<mailto:ahua.uci12 at gmail.com> by Friday, February 26, 2016 if you would like your artwork to be part of this exhibit . Follow up by March 18th with a jpeg photo, dimensions, title, medium, a short paragraph about you or your work, and your full name and contact information. We welcome submissions of all forms and encourage you to think beyond traditional art mediums.

This show is a part of our ongoing effort to foster a community of art enthusiasts at UCI. Keep your eyes out for updates. Contact us with any comments or questions at ahua.uci12 at gmail.com<mailto:ahua.uci12 at gmail.com> ahua.uci12 at gmail.com<mailto:ahua.uci12 at gmail.com> or on facebook.

Funding for this exhibit has been generously provided by the Chancellor’s Office<http://chancellor.uci.edu/>, the University Research Opportunity Program<http://www.urop.uci.edu/grants.html>, and the support of UCI’s student community via a variety of fundraising activities.
