Dear Art History students,

There is still plenty of space available in Professor Cooks' Practicum for
Majors course in winter (AH 190W). If you have not yet taken this course
and plan to graduate in spring, please be advised that winter may be the
only opportunity for you to take it. The department may not offer the
course in spring.

About AH 190W: A required course for all art history majors, the practicum
cultivates basic skills and knowledge necessary for specialized study in
art history. Students focus on analytic reading and research skills in
the field, while learning methodological approaches to writing about art.
Accordingly, students write, edit, and revise numerous formal analysis and
research assignment.

Sincerely,
Beth Pace
