The Department of Art History seeks to hire a UCI Art History major to work with Professor Aglaya Glebova for Winter and Spring 2015 quarters. The intern will assist Professor Glebova with a variety of tasks and projects including assembling a catalogue raisonne' of Aleksandr Rodchenko's works, researching (via Irvine library, ILL, or other search engines), ordering and reviewing published catalogues of Rodchenko's works, as well as various image databases; contacting museums and archives for image previews; scanning images, and entering image data into a database. General research assistance, including locating bibliographic sources, photocopying and scanning.
Knowledge of Cyrillic is not required, but strongly preferred; if RA has no familiarity with Cyrillic, a willingness to learn transliteration would be a great help (Professor Glebova will teach him/her)
Number of Hours: 60 hours
Salary: $1000
