*Women in Early & Medieval China*

Presented by Suzanne Cahill, Ph.D., Professor of History, UCSD, noted 
Tang scholar and guest curator for the /Warriors/ exhibition
Saturday, March 3rd
1:30-3:00 PM

Take an illuminating glimpse into the lives and contributions of Chinese 
women during the Qin, the Han, and Tang dynasties. Dr. Cahill will 
discuss the cultural conceptions of gender in China, the typical life 
cycle of a woman, and the question of women's power and freedom in 
comparison to men of the same eras.
