SSCM-L provides an electronic forum for member-subscribers of SSCM as well as for interested non-members to exchange information and discuss topics related to SSCM and to all aspects of 17th-century music and its study. Currently SSCM-L goes out to 437 subscribers, internationally, with multiple language options, including Hebrew, Japanese and Korean. The SSCM homepage may be found at www.sscm-sscm.org. The Society's next annual conference will be held 4-7 April 2024 at Princeton University, with a special emphasis on music and dance. Program, travel, and lodging details may be found on the Society's website. The deadline for proposals for the program is 1 October 2023. For details see https://sscm-sscm.org/meetings-conferences/2024-annual-meeting/ . The SSCM-L listserve will be retired this Spring. All current subscribers should automatically be transferred to the Constant Contact mail list that will be maintained by the Society's Secretary. Subscribing to SSCM-L
Subscribe to SSCM-L by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
