Join us for stimulating discussion about Reimagining Healthcare Delivery Models at the Center for Digital Transformation's Idea Exchange in Digital Healthcare on Wednesday, October 9 from 5:30 - 8:30 PM at the Beckman Center.   C. Martin Harris<http://merage.uci.edu/ResearchAndCenters/CDT/Resources/Documents/%5b765%5dHarris.Bio.updated%2010.22.12.11rtf.pdf>, MD, MBA, Chief Information Officer and Chairman of the Information Technology Division of the Cleveland Clinic will be our keynote speaker.  A national leader in healthcare, innovation and health information technology, Dr. Harris' interest and expertise in improving the practice of medicine through the innovative application of information technology is reflected in his serving on numerous national policy and technology organizations.  He is a past national chair of Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), was tapped by the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services to help draft the electronic health records mandate in the economic stimulus package, and is responsible for strategic business planning for Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, one of the nation's largest hospitals.
