Title: Calit2 Wireless technologies and applications workshop

Date: March 26th, 2009                 

 

Location: Calit2 - Room 3008                     

 

Abstract: Calit2 has requested interested engineering researchers and
developers to present their current research on various wireless
technologies - ranging from developing low power and high frequency RF
circuits/systems to implementing antennas and creating a web 2.0 based
wireless communication network platform. 

 

In addition, researchers will present on the novel use of existing
wireless technologies or novel wireless technologies to be invented in
the fields of medical devices, e-heatlh/telemedicine, smart civil
infrastructure, non-invasive diagnosis of structures, intelligent
transportation command and control, future automobiles and remote
sensing for the environment.

 

Each presenter will give a 5 minute presentation so we can allow for 5
minutes of discussion as well.

 

The goal is to have meaningful dialogue that will promote collaborative
research opportunities.
