Internet in the Home: Results from the US, Sweden and India."

Where: Calit2 Building at UC Irvine, Room 3008

Abstract: This is a study of computer/Internet diffusion in the
household sector in the U.S., Sweden, and India. We investigated how
different theories of diffusion (evolutionary, leapfrogging, structural,
and agentic) account for the cross-country data. We found that no one
particular theory accounts for all the developments and all four
theories apply in varying degrees.

Please join us to reflect on his interesting comparative data regarding
home Internet use in three different countries.
