Toastmasters,
Recently there has been some uncertainty expressed over the CL Evaluator role.
The CL Evaluator (Competent Leader project evaluator) provides a
short written evaluation for those members practicing leadership
skills while carrying out a meeting role.
Leadership skills include:
Listening and Leadership
Critical Thinking
Giving Feedback
Time Management
Planning and Implementation
Organizing and Delegating
Developing Your Facilitation Skills
Motivating People
Mentoring
Team Building
District 4 (to the north of us) has a nice description of the
Competent Leadership manual at http://www.d4tm.org/Education/manuals_CL.html.
====
To gain an understanding of what the CL manual is all about, read its
table of contents and Project 1. This is only a few pages, and you
will feel much more comfortable with the CL manual.
