Dear friends,

Although Velantine's Day just passed, I was flooded by the love you sent me
when I checked my email box this morning! Since Bob Hudack helped me to put
my request of a ride to the contest on the mailing list, I've kept receiving
responses from you, my dear friends of the UCI toastmaster club.

Please accept my thanks to Bob Hudack, Carolynn Bramlett, Patricia Collette,
Emily Jen and Yoshi Ogura. Thank you for your kind offers and warm messages.


Actually before I turned on my computer this morning, I received an early
morning call from an alumni of mine, Gary, who works at Broad.com company.
Gary called me about the upcoming Chinese New Year party with his family on
this weekend. I mentioned my request for a ride to the speech contest. Gary
was very interested and said he could give me a ride to and back. He had
never heard of a toastmaster club before. I think you all will also be happy
to see that I will bring a new friend to the club to see what an exciting
activity at International Toastmaster!

Again, thank you all for your generous help! I'm looking forward to seeing
the contest and meeting you there.
