[Toastmasters] Duty Roster, November 7-21

Hi all,

Japanese children and get out the vote; I'm always amazed at the variety of speeches we hear in our club every week (aside from a certain member's obsession with Grand Canyon Speeches).

This Saturday is the Founder's District Fall Conference. It's also the day to root on our contestants for the Evaluation (Lyle) and Humorous (Manuel) speech contests. Our club has done fairly well in District contests, so get out there and support Lyle and Manuel as they go for a ZotSpeak sweep. On November 28, we'll be electing officers for January-June, 2005. Being an officer is a great way to get more involved and help our club become even better in the future. If you're interested in becoming an officer for the next term, contact Gloria Kao, who is the chair of our Nominating Committee, or the person currently holding the office. Become an officer; you'll be glad you did!
