Sailing: ratings for Capri's

Interested in Getting a Capri Rating?

 

Written test Review and test:  Tuesday April 15 7pm at the ARC.

This is your chance to go over the written test, ask questions, and then
take the written test.

It is much better to go to the review and then take the test.

 

RSVP to jlibbets at uci.edu

 

On the water tests:  Sunday April 20 and Sunday April 27

We will offer the written test at 11:30am (but we recommend that you do the
review)

Also take the written test at the ARC sales desk during the scheduled hours
824-3738 for check hours

 

Practical test at 1:15pm:  You mush RSVP to take the test and you must have
passed the written test to take the practical test.

Remember UCISA membership is open to all UC students, faculty, staff and
alumni and their spouses.

 

Do not take the written test, unless you will be joining UCISA this quarter.

 

Rating test includes an actual capsizing as well as sailing. The rating
checklist can be downloaded at

Need practice:  take the written test, and we will help you get in practice
time at the Capri 2 classes or other times.

 

Rating fee: includes written test, on the water and retakes if needed:  $15
for UCI students, $25 for all other

 

Capri rating and current UCISA membership is required to take the Shields
test.
