Ready to get your Capri ratings? Get your rating now, and enjoy the last of
summer sailing

 

Date:  Capri rating day on September 8

 

Time:  Written tests:  12 noon (or previously taken)

          Practical tests 1:30pm-4pm (you need to be there at 1:30pm

 

You must take and pass your written test prior to taking the practical test.

It may be taken at the ARC sales desk during business hours 8-5pm or on the
rating day at 12noon.

 

Costs:  $10 for UCI students/415 for all others

Membership; we will prorate the last of summer for anyone who passes the
rating

 

Test: the test includes rigging, sailing including single-handed and
capsize.  If you completed and passed the capsize test in a recent class,
give me details of when and instructors name, so it can be verified.

 

Written and rating Review:  There might be a written test review followed by
the test, on Thursday at 6;30.  IF you are interested in attending that RSVP
and we will try to arrange that.

 

Eligibility:  Remembers that UCISA membership is open to UC students,
faculty, staff and alumni or their spouse. Alumni or non UCI students staff
or faculty need to bring proof with them or before they join.
