Shields Rating Test Review taught by Steve Reed
Date;  Wednesday Sept 13, 2006
Time:  6:30-8:30pm
Where: The Boy Scout Seabase (classroom G)
 
This is a chance to review for the  Shields 1 rating test.  Even if you have
recently taken the written test, this is a great chance to learn more and
ask questions, 
We will review what is on the written tests, give lots of hints on preparing
for the ratings. Also a great review for any S1 that have not taken classes
for a while. Emergency situations and more to be covered. Thinking about
taken the written test soon? This is a great chance for you.  Steve Reed
will be handling the review. No charge for current UCISA members. Remember
you must be a current member with a Capri rating to get your Shields rating

Work day on the Shields and Capri's
Date:  Saturday Sept 16, 2006  
Time:  9;30am -1pm 
What:  This is a fun cleaning and minor maintenance day
Wear you grubbies, and help us get the boats ready for fall, and socialize
with members;
No experience necessary    Tentative BBQ to follow.  Volunteer needed for
the BBQ
No sailing during the work party
